At the 1st Church of the FOC (friends of Caesar), offended-ness is the rule of the day. They love to accuse, label and intimidate. But the bane of their existence is the 1st Church of the EOC (enemies of Caesar), where liberty is paramount. They grew up, they got over themselves, and they're on a mission from God. No, they're not made of Velcro, they're made of Teflon, and nothing sticks. They can't be intimidated into a corner on matters of liberty. Velcro? Or Teflon? You choose.

Following the Islamic attack on the Canadian Parliament, which resulted in the murder or Cpl. Nathan Cirillo, an unlikely marine took up guard at the Canadian War Memorial. Retired Major R. E. G. “Fox” Sinke, Jr., a Vietnam veteran and highly decorated Marine ignored death threats to stand guard in Cirillo’s place.
“The murder of the young Cpl. Cirillo was so despicable and craven that I just couldn’t find it within myself to do nothing,” said Sinke, who has a Canadian-American dual citizenship and author of several books, including When None Of Their Dreams Are Dead.
Sinke received many death threats by phone that were in Arabic.
The only words I recognized were ‘kill you,’ because I’ve heard them before,” he said. Following the Islamic attack on the Canadian Parliament, which resulted in the murder or Cpl. His spirit was captured in one of his responses to a jihadist on the other end of the phone. “Hey, you’re looking for a target, here’s a new one for you; give it your best shot; we’ll see how it works out for you.” He said.
Arriving at the memorial on October 31 at 6am, he stood guard alone at the war memorial until he was joined at 9am by Canadian police and the Canadian honor guard.
The Canadians were heralding Sinke as a hero. Just look at some of these tweets.
